I passed on the mesh flats trend and when I saw these Mary Jane’s I knew I made the right decision. A classic style updated in a playful stripe will instantly elevate even the most simple of outfits. And I wore them all afternoon straight out of the box at a kids school event and they fit like a dream. I took my regular size. Today I paired them with these favorite jeans and a crochet vest (old, similar here and here) with a simple tee underneath, which I only front tucked to keep the look a bit undone and casual. A raffia bag paired with rich brown leather gives the look depth while the check sunglasses, beaded bracelets, and simple gold earrings (an Amazon find!) are all kept neutral to finish the look.
