Hi! To be honest it was just a pretty average week around here. Lots of work form home, errands and running the kids around to their activities and birthday parties…last year we tried sneaking in a vacation before school starts but it was just wayyyy too much. So it feels pretty good to just be chugging along.
Outfit wise I’m starting to layer in richer colors and styles that swing towards Fall while but still work while it’s hot outside. And during weeks like this with nothing particularly special going on, I tend to dress up a bit! To feel elevated but still casual and comfortable for everyday. So lots of balancing going on. Take a look at what I threw together and don’t forget to subscribe have these posts sent to your Inbox each week…

*all styles fit true to size unless noted

I’ve found on Monday’s I’ve been reaching for more elevated but still comfortable outfits to kick off the week feeling pulled together and ready.
My Alex Mill cardigan sold out but after drooling over it all last season this bestseller is on its way to me now!
Madewell skirt is a favorite from last season, this denim new arrival stopped my scroll this week! I can’t wait to try it…
Flabelus are always a go-to for that elevated style but still walk all day comfortable.
I’m a broken record with this Loeffler Randall everyday tote, also comes in a larger travel size I don’t leave home without.
Jimmy Fairly sunglasses are an all year round favorite!

Styled this dress on a random Tuesday but since it’s on the shorter side it would be the perfect date night, party or going out with the girls dress.
Sezane dress, as mentioned above is on the shorter side, I’m 5’3″ for reference.
Baublebar necklace arrived yesterday and it was worth the wait! The subtle blue sets it apart from the crowed and can be worn at 3 different lengths, I have it one one of the longer settings. Also just added this one to my jewelry box, worn in this outfit.
Margaux woven flats have been on heavy repeat all Summer! The trick is to size up half, also own & love this sold brown pair too worn here.
And don’t forget my Loeffler Randall everyday tote is back in stock! Every time I share it on Instagram I get a DM telling me how happy they are with it ~ lightweight, wipe clean, has a laptop sleeve and is a great size.
Jimmy Fairly sunglasse, again.
The EBY high waisted underwear I wear with flowy skirts and dresses, I size up one to a Medium.

Pre-fall outfit while it’s still hot outside! Wore this to work from home then run the kids to their dentist appointments
Athleta linen shorts were a bestseller all last Summer and again this season! Easy fit, gorgeous quality, zip pickets and I’m always a sucker for a white drawstring. Are more of a light blue in person vs. the stock pictures. I wouldn’t say they’re see through but I still wear nude underwear with them (size up to a medium)
Hill House top is easy breezy but the gorgeous brown floral takes takes the look into pre-Fall. I sized down one to an xs. Also if your Fall closet needs a beautiful jacket check out this new arrival!
These green Tkees flip flops have been a Summer workhorse! Adds that little something unexpected…also worn with a dress in this outfit. Find them here or here with code LATELY10
Clare V. Moyen Messenger in cream is a gorgeous closet stable that will move right through to Fall/Winter. Also comes with a hands free crossbody strap which I use A LOT ~ code MVP to save.
Jimmy Fairly sunglasses, again!

Can always count on Hill House for a elevated, everyday outfit! Felt so comfortable but also pulled together and ready to take on the day.
Hill House Cosima Dress sized down to an xs. Is a Summer favorite that easily moves into Fall with a layered sweater, jacket or cardigan on top. You can also wear a regular bra with it!
Since we lost KULE here is another option for a favorite stripe top from Minnow! It’s a high quality, midweight cotton so it feels like a good cross between a tee and a sweater.
Dorsey gold chain I’ve loved for years and still looks new.
I’m a broken record with these Margaux buckle sandals, a true closet workhorse. And these woven flats…I went up a haf size.
Bag is borrowed from Vivrelle! It’s so fun to try such gorgeous, luxury styles without the commitment. Use my code CLAIRELATELY to get your first month of membership on me!

Had a little fun with everyday athleisure styles for a mid week kids drop off run.
Few sizes left in my Addison Bay Skort! Or try this Rhone style is a cute check style for early Fall, worn in this outfit. And just saw Addison Bay the sweatshirt so good I even spent a full travel day in it is fully stocked.
Rhone windbreaker jacket is one of those styles I reach for so often it makes sense to own multiple colors! Red is sold out but go for thew blue…& the matching shorts I wore in this outfit.
My Loeffler Randall everyday tote is on repeat lately!
Tkees everyday flip flops code LATELY10

A little bit elevated meets a little but casual for a balanced outfit to push through to the end of the week! And you know I’m a proud outfit repeater, see how I wore a similar version of this outfit right here

Sezane shorts have a tailored front and elastic waist back for an all day comfortable fit. Are fully lined but I do wear this high waisted nude underwear with them
Canvas totes are a workhorse in my closet and the both the color and size of this Tuckernuck style make it a favorite.
Baublebar personalized rope necklace paired with a simple gold Dorsey chain and my everyday bracelet.
At first I wasn’t sure about the fit of these Autry sneakers but after wearing them around the house for about 2 minutes I swear they molded to my foot! LOVE them…and the just right touch of pink.

Took Penelope to a friends birthday pool party in this easy breezy look.
La Maregold shorts have been a Summer MVP! Also worn here & here
Madewell tank is pretty much sold out but this new arrival is similar and this one if you prefer sleeves.
These green Tkees flip flops have been such a happy Summer find and I wore them WAY more than I thought I would, also in this outfit.
I’ve been wanting to try Jenny Bird jewelry for a while and once I saw this bracelet is swim/shower/sweat friendly I new it was time! And it was worth the wait.
Janessa Leone hat I wish I bought sooner! High quality, great fit and packs well ~ I wear the medium.
Hands down our favorite family pool bag. This thing is indestructable, can be personalized and folds flat for travel.

Casual Sunday running a few errands, catching up on some work and laundry at home.
Love everything about this Boden sweater! A just right V-neck, the color is stunning AND 100% cotton for under $100. I’m wearing it on its own now but endless ways to layer this come Fall/Holiday seasons.
First time trying Back 70 sneakers and now I understand the hype! Walk all day out of the box comfortable in a goes with everything, feel good neutral. Highly recommend. And wearing them with my ride or doe Bombas no show socks that stay put!
Citizens of Humanity Marlow Shorts are a favorite. I’ve been hearing good things about their Winslow boyfriend style for Fall so going to give that a go too. Will report back in my weekend Borrow My Notes post…
Bracelet stack ~ the Baublebar tennis style I wear almost everyday paired with Names for Good beaded style to tie in with blue shorts and add a bit of color.
