5 SIMPLE SWAPS
:: 1 Instead of a horizontal stripe choose a vertical stripe option (I’ve had this one for YEARS and it’s still going strong). Bonus points if it’s the same color as your pants to create a tonal effect.
:: 2 Go for a high-waisted pant that won’t cut your body in half
:: 3 Tuck in your top to follow the rule of thirds.
:: 4 Cropped pants (these are a favorite!) that show a bit of your ankle will make you appear taller.
:: 5 A darker toned shoe has a time and a place but it does heavy so instead choose a lighter tone option. But not necessarily a neutral! A blush or pale blue will do the trick and still let your personality shine through.
