The Winter boots are stored away, the days are getting longer, and the sun is starting to show through the rainy days. Spring is officially here! And with it comes a renewed energy and the sense of a fresh new start. Which why I love to take whatever time I can to give my closet a once over.
This does not mean you have to take everything out and go through it piece by piece (but if you’re up for. that by all means, go right ahead!). It can be as simple as a 5 minute run through of what’s working, what’s not, what needs repair, etc etc. But for me I know it’s always helpful to have a something to guide me, to help see things with a fresh new perspective.
The Spring Closet checklist helped me get super intentional about curating a closet instead of buying the latest trend or sale item. And with these key pieces at the ready, pulling together everyday casual outfits became infinitely easier. And most importantly, left me feeling incredible to take on whatever the day brings.
A Tip
The checklist is meant to be a guide! Know your budget and lifestyle to tailor it to you needs. For me personally, I’ve seen so many mentions of a white button down as a closet essential but with 2 kids and a dog, that is a hard pass for me. But a classic blue stripe? That is a yes. So adjust as needed to make this work for you and choose options that fit your color personality (find yours here!).
Everyday Outfit Examples
Over the next couple weeks, I’ll be including a clickable link for each item below for a real life, everyday example of I styled the piece. And keep scrolling for a shoppable link of an example of each piece, most of which I own and love.
