Agolde denim shorts have become a cult favorite! But are they worth it???
For the last year I’ve been hearing more and more that Agolde denim shorts are IT for Spring and Summer. I haven’t had the best of luck with their jeans but I tried this pair last Summer and yup, the hype is true. Beautiful washes, easy fit, and they don’t stretch out on you as the day goes on. I even wore them all through Winter by styling them like this.
So during the recent ShopBop sale I grabbed two more styles to test out and here’s how it went…. (For reference, I am wearing a size 29 and am 5’3″)
The Parker Long High Waist Cutoff

This is my ride or die pair. They don’t ride up, wash well, hold their shape, and if you’re at all like me and don’t have stick straight body the easy leg opening is perfect. Since they are so popular they are available in a handful of color washes and styles. There is definitely rom to size down if you want a closer fit.

Dame: High Rise Baggy Cuff

Since I’m on the shorter side I thought these might cut me off too much but I ended up really liking them! The cuff is not sewn in which makes these incredibly versatile and fun to style. They’d look super cute worn long with a pair of heels for a night out or rolled up a second time for a hot day at the pool. Since they are longer I do think they’d look better with a closer fit so I am exchanging for a size down. Also available in white and a lighter wash.

If you’re looking for a quality, classic, longer shorts option these are it. The quality is wonderful and the fit is great (even though I would size down if you prefer a less baggy look) but other than that there isn’t too much to write home about. So for me they were just okay and heading back to the store. SHORTS
