Well did January just fly by for anyone else? At the beginning of the month I wrote this post about how I’m creating my own sunshine this Winter. And while it’s been far from perfect, a few wins (and a few learnings!) have made a world of difference.
I committed to taking Friday’s to decorate and organize the house, staring with the kids bathroom (read about it here!) – wearing these overalls has made it even that much more enjoyable. Waylon’s Serena & Lily “big boy bed” came – see it here – and it’s STUNNING (I want to steal it) This LED nail polish has been an unexpected highlight. I found the best part of upgrading my pajama game is feeling happy and inspired in the morning. And I read this book from Oprah’s Book Club which was at times hard to digest but at others deeply moving and inspirational. One thing I didn’t do was use my sauna blanket or take a solo night for myself, so those are top on my list for next month.
So no matter where you’re at with New Years intentions, just keep going and keep adjusting. You got this.

Nike Blazer High Top Sneakers – When the snow isn’t too bad I’ve been wearing these as an alternative to my chelsea boots. Bonus – warm ankles! I pair them with these socks. Here are 4 options for tying them up and here is the full sneaker edit.
Warby Parker Glasses – I haven’t taken the time to get new glasses in YEARS and was kind of dreading it. But I took my prescription into the store and 20 minutes later my glasses were ordered! And 2 weeks later they were at my house. I’m a BIG fan.
